 EGE / ΑΙΓΑΙΟ is a tribute to the Aegean Sea - an elongated inlet of the Mediterranean Sea located between the peninsulas of Greece and Anatolia, historically important especially with regard to the ancient Greek civilization that inhabited the area around the Aegean coast and the Aegean Islands. These islands facilitated contacts between the people of the area and between Europe and Asia.
