Inspired by a legendary stone with exceptional powers: the lapis philosophorum, that is the Holy Grail of the alchemists, endowed with the power to transform any vile metal into gold, to acquire omniscience and give immortality.
 With Lapis Philosophorum, Olivier Durbano wanted to make a change passing from reality to imagination, from the stones of our world to those of a purely symbolic universe. A work that has engaged the French creator for several years in the search for the perfect formula, coming to reveal the mystery of the alchemical gem and turn it into perfume. Imprisoned in a gold-colored jus, the olfactory pyramid has woody-balsamic-sulphurous facets and is characterized by strong contrasts, not very sweet dark tones (or) and an arrangement of ingredients that does not follow the usual rules of perfumery and combines white truffle with rum, menthol with ambergris, grapefruit with marc. In the heart, next to the mesquite, an evergreen tree that grows in Mexico, there is the well-known icon of Durbano present in all his creations, the tear of the boswellia sacra which, coincidentally, in the solid state resembles a fragment of rock.
