Prométhée, Prometheus in Italian, Prometheusin ancient Greek, "He who reflects first, the Seer", is a Titan, famous for having molded men from mud, animating them with Divine Fire and for the theft of "divine knowledge", fire sacred of Olympus that hides in the stalk of a fennel to pay homage to men. Zeus, learning of the theft, condemns Prometheus to be chained to a rock on Mount Caucasus. Only after a thousand years Heracles frees Prometheus who, with the bronze of the chains and a rock from the Caucasus, creates the first ring of the world that he wears to commemorate his torture. Thanks to his divinatory abilities Prometheus, thinks that man, deprived of Divine Fire, will not be able to discover, to study, to use the forces of nature, to establish order and harmony, to communicate with the Gods, to embrace not only the visible world but also the principles and essence of all things ... Following on from "Lapis Philosophorum" inspired by the legend of the philosopher's stone, Olivier Durbano dives into Greek mythology for his tenth scent that marks ten years of olfactory creations devoted to the universe of stones and spirituality. It is starting from this mythological story that Olivier Durbano explores ingredients he has not yet used, such as fennel, lily of the Caucasus, fenugreek, giving life to a fragrance that closes a creative journey that lasted 10 years but, at the same time, creates a new starting point.
