RAKE & RUIN
 A perfume inspired by the scenes of Georgian London imagined by William Hogarth, author of satirical prints brought to light in the BeauFort London "Revenants" Collection. Much of Hogarth's work describes the moral degeneration and decaying trajectories of the British youth of the time, tracing their self-destructive paths, made up of misery, immorality and insanity. Rake & Ruin imagines moments extrapolated from the opera "A Rake's Progress", one of the most infamous works of the English satirist, where the protagonist Tom Rakewell is brought to ruin by a sumptuous and completely unruly life. The powerful fragrance captures the moment of a dissolute evening spent in a tavern, where rivers of gin flow, you think of the good old days and moral decay begins ...
